For four seasons, John Tiller hassled Big 12 point guards, collected court-burns, and helped win a lot of basketball games for the University of Missouri.
His work ethic and consistently top notch effort afforded Tiller a lot of opportunities in his life and career. Those attributes carry over outside of the gym too.
These days he’s a hired-gun, taking his hassling defense, his court-burns, and his winning mentality to whatever pro team will write the biggest check. He’s also a trainer at Wilson’s Total Fitness and on Wednesday began his new bootcamp program called “The Fastest Four Weeks In Fitness”.
Tiller made another one of his semi-regular visits to “The Closers” on KFRU radio on Tuesday and candidly spoke about the new Mizzou, the old Mizzou, and the future of Mizzou. He speaks about his opinion of new Missouri Head Coach Frank Haith and his assistants. He gives his advice to Missouri’s four-year senior class of Kim English, Marcus Denmon, Lawrence Bowers, and Steve Moore as they enter their “last shot” at ultimate glory.
Tiller also describes the game and possible impact of hobbled Tiger, Kadeem Green. The 6’8 Green redshirted last season with an injury and could be a major contributor to the Tigers as a redshirt freshman this year.
