CoMo Tech: Jennifer Bukowsky

@_lawbuk

 Who are you?

Jennifer K. Bukowsky

What do you do for money?

Fight to protect my clients’ rights, records and freedom at the Bukowsky Law Firm.

What do you do for fun?

Throw big parties, play cards, attend local events, relax at home with my husband and our two sons ages 4 and 2.

I would characterize my relationship with technology as:

temperamental.

Smart or dumb phone? What kind? If smart, what are the three apps you use most?

  1. Facebook
  2. Twitter
  3. Zite (an incredible iPad app that pulls content from everywhere to create a personalized magazine)

Mac or PC or Other?

“It’s complicated.”  I bought a macbook air two weeks ago- my first mac.  But my law firm is still filled with PCs (for now).

I use twitter for …

Staying informed and marketing my law firm

I use facebook for …

Maintaining and building friendships and marketing my law firm.

Do you read any blogs? What are three of your favorites?

No regulars but I read many blog posts on law and politics when I see them on Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter and Zite.  My husband has been telling me for probably 7 years now that I should set up a RSS feed but I haven’t gotten around to figuring out how to do that yet.  But I did finally listen to him and started both a business and a blog in the past year:   http://www.lawbuk.com.

Go-to menu item and restaurant in CoMo?

Filet mignon at CC City Broiler

Complete this sentence: Archers of Loaf is:

the beneficiary of creative publicity on this blog.

Friends are visiting from out-of-town. You’re for-sure taking them to:

Assuming there is no Tiger Football or Men’s Basketball game at home that day, I may take guests on a ride around a section of southern Boone County on my Polaris Ranger before heading downtown to the district for shopping, food, drink, and entertainment (and a tour of the Bukowsky Law Firm).

My second-favorite city/town/hamlet/state/country/province in the world is:

Maui.

Thanks, Jennifer!
