Who are you?
I’m Jen Reeves – best known in the social media world as Jen Lee Reeves or @jenleereeves (the Twitter version makes you say the names together faster). I’m a believer of community, sharing and family. I recently discovered that I’m ready to make the jump and try to follow my passion. That’s taking my site Born Just Right and turning it into a bigger website focused on advocacy and support for families and non-profits. I’m the mom to Cameron and Jordan, wife to Randy and dog owner to Dudley and Bubba.
What do you do for fun?
I love writing, playing with technology and running. I also love to hike with my kids when one second we’re pretending to be in Narnia and the next second we’re pretending to climb Mount Everest. My husband and I have a music habit that has taken us to some really wonderful music festivals.
I would characterize my relationship with technology as:
We’re tight. We work together and know each other well. Technology also knows I have a hard time saying no to new tools that help me tell multimedia stories.
Smart or dumb phone? What kind? If smart, what are the three apps you use most?
I’m all about my iPhone. I use the Facebook, Twitter, Foursquare and Remember the Milk apps the most. The ones my kids like the most: Angry Birds, Sesame Street Monster Maker and Cut The Rope. (They love totally different apps on my iPad.)
Mac or PC or Other?
I use Twitter for:
Building community, communicating with my audiences (for KOMU and Born Just Right), sharing and learning information from the many different communities I take part in (special needs, journalism, parenting, technology, audience engagement, apps, nerdy stuff… I participate in a lot of different communities)
I use Facebook for:
To stay in touch with friends, former students and my online audiences (once again from KOMU and Born Just Right), chat with community members about mid-Missouri and/or parenting, chat about life and have fun.
Do you read any blogs? What are three of your favorites?

- Shelter Gardens (it isn’t too far from my house)
My second-favorite city/town/hamlet/state/country/province in the world is:
Chicago (with Monterey, CA a very close third)
