Mom to daughters Casey and Hanna, wife to Kenny, radio co-host, enjoyer of food, music and wine, frustrated old-home improver, weather geek.
What do you do for money?
Radio Co-host, The Morning Meeting KFRU
What do you do for fun?
See above: cook, eat, drink wine, improve old houses (here and at farm), explore new things in Washington DC and New Orleans. We have gone to Jazz Fest in NOLA annually for 23 years.
I would characterize my relationship with technology as:
learning and chasing … and occasionally cursing at it.
Smart or dumb phone? What kind? If smart, what are the three apps you use most?
Mac or PC or Other?
I use twitter for …
fun conversation, keeping up with the news and local events. Political fix.
I use facebook for …
keeping up with friends. Sharing photos. Non-political.
Do you read any blogs? What are three of your favorites?
Yes, usually via links on twitter from trusted sources. Don’t read any with religious regularity. I do enjoy local blogger Kate Canterbury’s The Guavalicious Life, and on the political front former Missouri-based reporter and now with Politico – Dave Catanese at politico.com. Also find myself reading Hotair.com on occasion.
Go-to menu item and restaurant in CoMo?
I am having so much trouble with this question!!! How am i supposed to pick favorites? Oh, here goes: Sophia’s for lunch (esp the patio) Ravioli Carne with Three Cheeses…followed by a nap.
Complete this sentence: Archers of Loaf is/are:
I had no idea when I read this survey. I did do a wiki, and learned the answer, but that’s cheating, right? (it’s a band)
Friends are visiting from out-of-town. You’re for-sure taking them to:
Hopefully, they are here during an event. Columbia does events well! Football games, Roots and Blues, summerfest etc. If not, then we have to do Shakespeare’s pizza and maybe a walk on the trail or peruse the downtown shops and scenery.
My second-favorite city/town/hamlet/state/country/province in the world is:
Washington DC. Love exploring the museums with my daughters, enjoying all the restaurants of a big city with my husband, but would never want to live there full time. The traffic is lunacy. Always want to come home to Missouri.
