Bad news for all the club-hopping young professionals living in Columbia. The Jason Derulo concert scheduled for Rollins Street tonight has been moved to the Hearnes Center. The concert remains free, but a student ID will now be required to enter. An inclement weather report caused the move. The full statement from the organizers follows.

The Jason Derulo concert this Saturday, August 20, has been moved from Rollins St. to the Hearnes Center Field House because of the likelihood of inclement weather in an effort to keep our audience, staff and artist safe and dry.

As a result of the location change, University of Missouri student IDs are required for entrance and will be checked at the door. Additionally, backpacks, large purses and coolers will not be permitted inside the venue.

Pop sensation Jason Derulo is coming to Mizzou! Jason topped the charts with hits such as “Whatcha Say,” “In My Head” and “Ridin’ Solo.” His newest smash hit, “Don’t Wanna Go Home” has been soaring up the Billboard Top 40. You will not want to miss this FREE concert!

If you were really banking on hearing some live club music tonight but aren’t a student, you can still see hip-hop collective Nappy Roots at Sideshow for $12. Nappy Roots are of course best known for their debut single Awnaw which is embedded below. Doors open at 8pm.
